A-Bear Art
Last name is a french name spelled “Hebert” but it’s pronounced commonly as “A Bear”. You can thank me later for changing this site name to Abear as this requires less brain cells to read than a name that don’t sound close to like it’s spelled.
This is a collection of all the half-baked, marginal ideas that have zero commercial value and each work is usually affectionately deemed by my beautiful spouse as “insignificant” (sometimes I get a reactive smile...on Thursdays she usually gives a puzzled “what is that? I don’t get it?”).
Trees have been harmed in creation of this site, as the high volume ideas is taking up digital space on a server in a warehouse that once stood a lush eco-friendly rainforest.
The Collections
BoomZs
An ongoing collection from somewhere between a good idea and the point where things got away from us.
Bottom Feeders
Subjects, characters and other things occupying the lower reaches of an increasingly questionable imagination.
Mediocre Abstract
Abstract paintings without the burden of unreasonable expectations.
Squishy N Screamo
Cute things, loud things and the uncertain territory where the two apparently decided to meet.
Familiar Re-Imagined
Recognizable things reconsidered with little regard for whether reconsideration was necessary.
Smart People
Observations involving people considerably smarter than the publication responsible for documenting them.
Santrapreneur
Enterprise, ambition and whatever else sounded convincing at the time.
Wisdom
Useful thoughts, useless thoughts and occasionally something difficult to distinguish between the two.
Zooson Ditch Safari
A field report from the overlooked wildlife, landscapes and mysteries closer to home.
Eccentric People
Portraits and observations devoted to people who make considerably more sense once normal is removed from the equation.
